Heres how I see it: : Less than 200,000 = Flop 200,000 to 300,000 = Disappointing 300,000 to 400,000 = Good. 400,000 to 500,000 = Very good. 500,000 to 600,000 = Great. 600,000 + = Massive. Id be shocked if it sold this much.

Emi 0
In order to compare, i've found the first week sales of every last album from a popstar. Femme Fatale (Britney Spears) - 276k (i guess in Christmas we can guess she will do more like 350k because her album was out in march) Unapologetic (Rihanna) - 225k Teenage Dream (Katy Perry) - 192k (but the album has sold 2,8+ millions and she had a HUGE era so we can expect a bigger first week sales plus she'll released it around Christmas)

ryhanna 3,507
Applause has been holding pretty steady on iTunes since the VMAs. Most of the songs that were performed are starting dip a bit, but Applause seems to be holding it's own.

You may be right I remember they underestimated BTW by several hundred thousand. I think a lot depends on the second single. Im going to stick with my prediction of around 400k for now. That would beat mdna which sold 359k and probably beat whatever numbers Katy could put up.
