Rollercoaster 2
Gaga's last tour seemed a bit.. hit and miss with location (leaving out some countries and visiting some flops) So I think she could benefit from looking at where the legends have performed on their greatest tours to get some inspiration.. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bad_%28tour%29 MJ's Bad tour was the highest grossing when it finished. They went to Cork in Ireland! CORK! Ha http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Living_Proof:_The_Farewell_Tour Cher's Farewell tour is legendary. Much like TMB, it was extended and extended due to demand... unlike TMB, they weren't planning a new album so just extended and extended. This tour had over 360 dates. Take notes, Gags, tone down the choreo and you're on to a winner. Yeah, just a thought.
Dodo 313
''MJ's bad tour'' its just a funny thought if you don't know about the song ''bad'' .
heavymlover 340
I know something for sure: She shouldn't go to extremely conservative places.
Pluto 776
I don't know, but she needs to go to more places in Canada. anybody knows you can conjure anything by the dark of the moon
Bad 32
'MJ's bad tour'' its just a funny thought if you don't know about the song ''bad'' . I'm pretty sure he was touring in honor of me tbh I think she should have more shows in Asia next time, especially Japan. It was the strongest leg of the BTW ball. Rollercoaster 2
AND? I know a girl from Cork and I went there once, it doesn't seem like the kind of place you'd see the most legendary american musician of all time tbh lol. It's not a natural fit "Where should I tour Michael Jackson? Oh, I know, let's go straight to Cork!" lol
Michael 533
She needs more UK dates for sure.
magicomg 0
I know a girl from Cork and I went there once, it doesn't seem like the kind of place you'd see the most legendary american musician of all time tbh lol. It's not a natural fit "Where should I tour Michael Jackson? Oh, I know, let's go straight to Cork!" lol It is like Madonna coming in Quebec City, a small 475,000 inhabitants city in north-eastern Canada and has sold over 70,000 tickets.. it is in the small market artists sold more tickets often. D1SC0STICK 567
Yeah, I also think that would be better... Unusual venues are more original, people are much more surprised. Conclusion: whoa, it's nearby all the people who don't travel to see a concert: let's buy tickets! And for the real fans it doesn't matter if they have to travel: Great ticket sale! Find your freedom in the music.

It's not a natural fit "Where should I tour Michael Jackson? Oh, I know, let's go straight to Cork!" lol Cork is the second biggest city here, and has a massive stadium that may have been the only one available to hold the show in. It also has an international airport that perhaps facilitated MJ's tour needs more. I wouldn't be shocked though, lots of artists have played massively successful shows in that stadium, Bruce Springsteen is there this July.
Pop Muse Tumblr 1
Gaga should do a short stadium-intensive tour instead of endless arenas, like this tour. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HIStory_World_Tour However, Michael did: -INDIA (did Gaga say she'd bring the BTWB to India? ) -REALLY conservative countries like BRUNEI and MALAYSIA -TUNISIA -125,000 in PRAGUE -FIVE AMSTERDAM ARENAS (250,000 -v- gaga's 26,000 considering amsterdam was gaga's european base on the BTWB ) -stadiums in SPAIN, ITALY (where gaga flopped) -four TOKYO DOMES -A GAZILLION STADIUM CONCERTS IN GERMANY (why wasn't "Scheisse" a single? ) -THREE WEMBLEY STADIUMS (London) -TWO PARKEN STADIUMS (Copenhagen) -75,000 in Estonia (versus gaga's 16,000) -FIVE stadiums in SOUTH AFRICA Actually, both the BTWB and History World Tour went to the same countries. Gaga and Michael are TRULY global
Radio Radio 0
I think it doesn't really related to the place, but rather with the artist. There are cities where an artist will give a smashing concert and others will perform the same place for a fraction of the crowd. i think with the born this way ball she guessed a lot of places to see if she's actually well received in those places and i think it works well. even in lower attendance places, it was not that bad
craig 680
Markets change. Spain and southern Europe are experiencing a 1930's style depression, so less demand there. Malaysia has gotten more Islamic fundamentalist, and become a no-go zone. The Bad tour was before Communism collapsed, and avoided Eastern Europe.
