There is obviously more It’s getting hard to even search for new music, everyone using ai pictures on the playlists pictures which also leads to the songs in that list probably being ai too… also supposed artist not linking a page or socials and more…. It’s s red flag…

Unfortunately...with the way the pay structure is on these platforms, quantity outweighs quality in order to get an increased income, virality, and playlist exposure. 

With so many AI music apps getting better by the day in terms of believability, sound quality, artist voice replication, etc...there's unfortunately less of an incentive to make music that takes longer to write, sing, and produce by human artists. 

And Spotify doesnt want to remove content (AI or human) from their platform in order to compete and satisfy shareholder quarterly quotas of subscriber growth, song submissions, etc while pay 0.00000001 of a penny a stream

For me the issue isn't as much AI artists, with those you know they're AI. The problem will come when actual artists just use AI to make their songs...I'm still convinced Drake's three albums earlier this year were AI written. 

I just hope Gaga never ever ever uses AI for her music.

Also they only exist to farm streams for money. I recently found an amazing indie pop song I was enjoying, went to the person’s page—they had released 20 albums and over 100 tracks in 2026. Entirely AI farming.

AI has cursed the world of creativity, because, creativity already gets reduced to whether or not it’s profitable in the eyes of non-creative people; hence why farming exists with AI. Because they don’t understand the journey to creativity informs the creative output.

Bad Romance is an amazing song not because it just sonically came out like that, but because Gaga sat and wrote her emotions, sang it, came up with a melody, rewrote and re-sung it over and over again until the final product happened. You can hear the long hours of recording, the emotions and more in the art. Same for painting, photography and all the other arts. 

People who aren’t creative don't realise that. Because creativity is like a god given gift almost that you can shape and tune yourself. Not everyone is born with creativity, because in order to be creative you must have a life that influences you towards creativity.
