Bad Romance is one of the first and BIGGEST things to really showcase her chameleon abilities! She looks like 7-8 different people in it it’s actually WILD!

The Cure isn’t one of her worst songs… at all.

The production is basic and very indicative of its time, that’s for sure. But the melodies are some of her best. 

It eventually lacks a bridge and a proper post-chorus.

And I can’t tell exactly why, but I’ve always felt that The Cure, Applause and Disease were sister songs, in a way… I don’t know what it is, but the way they were mixed/mastered or something just gives the same feeling to me. And also the lack of a proper bridge but it works for all three songs. And somehow they all sound fresh. They sound really clean, and they sound very full and finished even though they don’t have a lot of instrumental layers for Gaga’s standards. They sound like DJWS wants a radio hit. (I know he didn’t produce Disease but it still sounds like he wanted it to be a radio hit lmao)

It's pretty clear that her nose was edited to be smaller. Her eyes were also made rich brown and I'm convinced that the eyeshadow was darkened even more for dramatic effect.

Nah, I think it's some pretty heavy digital reshaping of her nose. The weird part is that it's only for that one shot of her removing her glasses.... then in the rest of the video, her nose is unaltered.

Bizarre. Some of the digital body changes were cool/clearly for artistic/dramatic impact... like the huge eyes in the bathtub & making her body emaciated in the shower shots

My only unconfirmed explanation would be that it symbolised her changing herself to appeal to the "boss", so that she could get close enough to kill him. 

Playing by the rules of a broken system so that you can change it from within.

The whole video feels like a big metaphor for her experience with the music industry and this headcanon could explain the visual choice.

But it also wouldn't surprise me if it was made for more shallow reasons - either by Gaga or a higher-up.
