Gaga Actually Should Do ARTPOP Act 2

I think if she wants to “revisit” ARTPOP she should revisit either the concept or a more advanced version of the sound but calling it ARTPOP Act 2 opens up a lotta cans of worms.

First you have the people who will ask “where’s this song at?” when their favourite rumoured unconfirmed (probably never existed) song isn’t on it.
Then you will have the people who will ask “does it fit the theme?” as to whether it fits into the already convoluted theme of the album. 
Finally there’s people (both fans and haters) who will automatically hate it because they hated EDM and the original album anyway. 
 

Plus DJWS already said in its early form Chromatica was intended to be “ARTPOP’s sister” and so did Gaga. So technically we already have it.

But if Gaga wanted to gather up the same producers and make a modern take on it, I wouldn’t be mad but ARTPOP wasn’t as huge to warrant slapping its name on it. If anything call it a new chapter of The Fame of you really want people to buy it.

I get why fans like ARTPOP, but there are honestly like three GREAT songs on that album. it feels like people are more attached to the fantasy of ARTPOP, the mythology, the unrealized potential, the album it could’ve been, than to the actual record that exists.

A lot of it seemed rushed, underdeveloped and unfinished, like there were bigger ideas behind it that never fully made it into the music. The idea was way more ambitious and interesting than most of the music actually is.

Aura is the only track that actually delivers on what the whole ARTPOP concept was supposedly selling It actually sounds like the album cover and aesthetic look.

I think the whole "ARTPOP's sister" was more DJWS saying than Gaga.

I didn't read through everyone's comments so someone might have mentioned this already, but remember during her Mayhem Q&A with monsters? She was asked about ARTPOP Act 2 and she said she doesn't want to just release the demos for the album, they're demos for a reason, and if she were to release them, there would have to be a need for them, it would have to be a response to something.

she is a commercial pop artist under a contract to be successful, she needs to release something that the fans will like enough to spend money on

act 2 is way too risky for her and the label and has every chance to flop because it didn't meet the fans mythological hype

For me, this is Venus, the song sounds like a piece assembled  from many other pieces, just like the cover of ARTPOP. Unfortunately, it's hard to get warm with the song, but i understand that the song was popular, it radiates such an otherworldly excessive heat. 

Aura sounds heavy electronic and seems progressive, but I don't associate it with the term ARTPOP because the song is more of a shocker musically, it's more about loud effects. 

GUY, on the other hand, seems not experimental, but he intelligently mixes sterile electronic sounds with an RnB feeling - this sounds subliminally innovative because it is elegantly made and it also reflects the content of the text - I'm so glad that it became a single.

I think Gaga's creativity goes way beyond creating part 2 of anything.
If she ever decides to call an album ARTPOP part 2, I'm sure it will sound or look nothing like part 1!
It will be totally new music, because she has grown so much since then, and she already confirmed she won't be using any old demos.
I really don't mind leaving ARTPOP in the past as a fan-favorite epic record I can always go back to - including the original DWUW, which was one of my faves
