I'll be playing the song Call Me Thunder in her memory, it was from her latest album and is such a classic power ballad. My parents are entering 60s and its scary. Despite rising life expectancies etc its still not that rare to die in your 70s for one reason or another. Living to 80+ feels like the default assumption these days but it is still far from guaranteed It was intestinal surgery she was having in Portugal and was still very ill post-surgery. It was just one of those unfortunate things. I know, I worry about my parents mortality in their 70's as well, considering they're not in the best of health but still much better off than the rest of their peers.
