I’m a huge Madonna fan, and I own special editions of her albums when I think they offer something genuinely worthwhile. But I’m not buying the 12-track version just for the cover. I made it my phone wallpaper and bought the 16-track version instead. Releasing countless versions of the same album is getting out of hand. I wouldn’t support Taylor’s approach to selling records. This has to come to an end.
Buy your favorite version, stream her music, go to her tours, buy merch if you like… but don’t support this nonsense.

Happy with my Pride edition vinyl and the 16 track CD  I hope she releases the instrumentals on streaming.

To be fair Madonna only releases an album every what, 4-5 years? As opposed to Taylor, Ari etc And those two already have gigantic fan bases and are young yet multimillionaires

Fair enough, but not enough for me to buy multiple editions. Artificial scarcity fuels scalping. One edition, maybe two if the album’s success justifies a reissue with additional tracks. No more.

The power is in our hands as consumers. We don’t have to fall for it.

yea and hopefully she will restock the premium deluxe and pride edition.

I love the colors but I really hate that pose, she looks weird like it’s a random outtake that was not supposed to be seen
