I really liked that it walked the line between the dance side of Madonna and the personal side of Madonna. I also really liked that despite it being labeled a sequel to COADF, it felt like it also had some styles of music from Erotica, Bedtime Stories, Ray of Light, Music, and American Life. The lyricism really intrigued me because it was a lot of reflecting on Madonna's life (the early days of NYC in both Danceteria and L.E.S. Girl, possibly her marriage with Sean Penn in Bizarre, her complicated relationship with her late brother Christopher in Fragile and her late stepmom Joan in Betrayal, and her up and down relationship with Lourdes in The Test). It makes me wonder if post 2023 health scare if it made her want to look back at her life and what she's experienced. Standout Songs: One Step Away, Danceteria, Read My Lips (with Feid), Everything, Bizarre, School, Fragile, Betrayal, The Test, and L.E.S. Girl. Also, Love Sensation really grew on me with a relisten!
