It’s unlike anything she’s done before and really showcases a deep understanding of sonic texture and arrangement. Only a true student and lover of music could have pulled it off. No other pop girl can even come close to this sound without their face melting. If she could just craft an album around it, she’d really become untouchable in the pop space like Madonna and ROL. Do it for the art, mother. Don’t be afraid of flopping because great art will live on even when you’re no longer here.
