Future Lovers 7,678 Posted June 14 Share Posted June 14 I really don’t give a **** about sports normally but I’m currently standing here on a street corner in Midtown Manhattan surrounded by thousands of people watching in bars and restaurants and the moment they won was euphoric. I’m not gonna suddenly become a sports fan after this, but the energy that has existed in this city since the series began has been impossible to ignore. The communal spirit that occurs when a city's team win is just so cool. Nonetheless I stayed up watching the game and celebration... it was cool to see. Was in DTLA trying to get a hot dog when the Dodgers won last year. Had no idea they were playing but the vibes were fantastic! People came out of everywhere. Made me a Dodgers fan.
