I am never going to semantically satisfy a trained singer, but I will try to articulate what I mean:

The “I… I… I…”s in the chorus sound whiny & (??)off-key(??)

“Without the scheisse yeah, without the scheisse yeah, without the scheisse yeah” sounds rushed & annoying the more she repeats it.

The only part of the chorus that works for me are the “oh, oh, oh, oh-oh”s, which sound oddly timeless.

Pedantic answer: they’re purposefully dissonant to create tonal tension. Gar usually plays with the contrast between major and minor tonality and a lot of those “I”s sit purposefully outside of the major feel of the main chorus melody to build towards the resolution at the end of the chorus. Stuff like that scratches an itch in my brain tbh but I get if you don’t like it.

That being said: we can agree that the “oh”s are great 🤝
