It does what a buzz track is meant to. It’s establishing a mood and a vibe. When the actual lead comes next week, we’ll have a clearer picture of what path the record takes. 

That said, some of the usual suspects on here hate it so that’s how you know it’s quality.

if this an album track, I’m seated! I can see it shining in between transitions. and it makes me very excited too. it’s definitely something you’d hear in COADF

on the other hand if it’s the lead single it’s far from the best choice because the spoken verses are kinda chop and don’t build the song up. also I don’t remember a pre-chorus or a chorus except hearing the title of the song.

but hopefully the lead is a bit more punchy and catchy.

the vocals are well the vocals but the production is everything. It’s not a bad song at all.
