They absolutely weren’t lmao. Every account of how the song was written basically confirms that Bruno had written the bulk of it (his verse, the pre-chorus, and the chorus) and Gaga came in and wrote her verse and her harmonies. The chorus is textbook Bruno Mars lol.

That’s a direct and logical response girl  like, it just makes total sense lmao

Also, as far as we know, Gaga wrote/composed a great portion of the song, it was initially just a raw song idea with a couple chords and Gaga came in, composed the chords and bass line (for the chorus probably since the rest doesn’t have much of a bass line) and then she smashed with a smile

That response makes zero sense lmao. It would be like someone asking, “What’s your favorite pizza?” and you responding, “I love Fettucini Alfredo” and then someone saying, “That’s not pizza” then you saying, “You know there’s a lot of amazing food out there that isn’t pizza, right?”

And no, Bruno basically said that the bulk of the song was written and that she just wrote her verse and harmonies.

I do love watching you backtrack LOL. It went from “It’s a Gaga song, she obviously wrote the chorus!” to “she might have re-harmonized some of the chords, wrote her verse, and the bass line.” But glad we finally agree. I won’t, however, agree that it’s “dope” because I don’t enjoy music that’s designed to be played at a low volume in a department store, but I respect your journey 🤝

If you read carefully, in the description, I totally cleared out, no hate, only dislike (two words have very different meanings).
