They just had to edit, tweak and re-record a few bits. For example they replaced SOPHIE's voice on Reason Why. A lot of her fans are just upset her hyperpop records with people like Kim, Charli and even Gaga didn't end up on the album- not even her experimental ones, like people were only concerned about the Pop demos she did. And her brother said they were unreleased for a reason and it made the gays mad. A huge number of people have a one dimensional idea of what a SOPHIE track "is supposed to" sound like, and are stuck on it. So when this project didn't fit into that box, this group of people was quick to dismiss the album entirely due to its release circumstances, failing to realize and understand that this album is entirely SOPHIE's unadultered vision.
