It was during Edge of Sloty piano.ย My take is she's probably doing a lot of work behind the scenes. She's been that way since covid. "She might be working behind the scenes" is just fan coping. We're talking about the woman that stood outside the capitol and screamed at the president to strike down discriminatory laws. And no, she just generally alluded to being unhappy about the chaos in the world. ยกSeguimos aquรญ!

Put pressure on a politician instead of pop stars.ย Like I said everyone who actually is a fan of Gaga knows what side she is on, because youโre right she is the woman who pioneered lgbt+ rights over a decade ago. She is the woman who has stood up for marginalized groups. Literally a year ago when no one was saying anything about the attacks on trans people, what did she do? Who was the woman who set up charities for the wealthy to donate during covid? Yall are so dense and want her to do and say things on your terms when she has proven time and time again who she is. For you to say thatโs a cop out for her to be putting fans lives first is actually insane.ย Taylor swift has spoken out and look what that did. Had the president mock her and post about her multiple times. Had her fans attacked during a Taylor dance class. Terrorist threats at her concert that she had to cancel. These people are disgusting and are a threat to our democracy and have done gross and evil things, that need to be dealt with not by celebs but actual people in charge.ย So if Gaga wants to be quiet right now, so be it. She does not have to be the front line for everything and the comments I have seen on this thread need to chill out. She does not need to prove anything. She has severe trauma and fibromyalgia that can harm her body and mental state and if she wants to put safety and peace for herself right now she is allowed to do so.ย 1
Zander 14,944
This has alway been so weird to me with this American way of thinking that they feel the need for celebrities to speak up, and cancel them if they donโt. At this point itโs just fans using it for a moral superiority test. Like why is the first thought where a pop girl is when someoneโs been murdered? That is so weird to me - we donโt need their opinions or voice. It benefits no one than their own reputation. Should be holdingย politicians accountable and putting pressure on them.ย Edited January 27 by Zander
ย Celloo Deng 55,853
When it comes to elections I think it can come across to some people as a bit tonedeaf for celebrities to be endorsing parties and ends up counterproductive, but itโs a different kettle of fish when your gov are basically a gestapo, everyone should be standing against thatย Edited January 27 by Celloo Deng she/her ๐ค Gaga, Billie, MJ

But during these 2 years they bought the album, the variants and the tickets to the concert. Posting about it on an echo chamber like this forum not only useless, it's not even going to Gaga and her team, all they care about is when something leaks and then they complain lol ย So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy
PartySick 168,229
I cannot wrap my head around the backwards, twisted, and cynical thinking that public figures should be apathetic in the face of injustice, silent in the face of catastrophe, and do nothing but gain wealth and power while giving nothing back. They are not above us. They are there because of us. They absolutely owe it to us. And we should expect it of them. Maybe Y'ALL need to learn a thing or two from Americans and start placing expectations on the people you make famous. You'd rather attack someone who DID speak out rather than someone who DIDN'T and that says more about you than it'll ever say about any celebrity. Or, since this is a criticism lobbed at Americans who care about global welfare, when it comes to OUR government, OUR problems, and OUR celebrities (like Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish, Katy Perry, and anyone else) then maybe YOUR opinion is entirely irrelevant and YOU should stay quiet instead. Especially when so many of your countries are following in Trump's footsteps. I wonder if you'll be so quick to tell your public figures to be quiet and not care when it's government agents threatening to break down your door or kidnap your neighbors. ยกSeguimos aquรญ!
