Trxstan 1,637
Did anyone catch what she said at the end? Something about the tearing down the opera house and rebuilding it back again????? I’m assuming a nod to the tour and obviously the stage which resembled the ruins of the opera house, but not sure if she means that the next leg will be different, or just a continuation? also to add to everyone else’s reviews: the lighting was insane. The ruins were at points lit up from within, so that the windows would illuminate gold. Huge baths of gold light. Fun use of lasers. The set plus lighting were absolutely incredible, really helped to set the mood Edited 13 hours ago by Trxstan woop hey there keep scrolling 6

She could turn her chair and play any style of piano she wanted with different tones. the organs were silver and glistened when she played. I don't think she'll change much of the show, maybe a few vocal changes where she's having fun with the songs. Staging or even choreo won't change at all. All the rehearsals, programming of lighting and sound and so on is a huge investment she's putting down before a tour - now it's time to get the coins back. Also a lot of her dancers haven't been in the US these last weeks/month. I follow a couple of them on Insta and Michael (not fiancé) is still in Australia as of yesterday. Mayhem was reworked as Industrial, gothic rock, heavier electronic rock, and some dark/synthwave. As someone who is into goth and industrial music, this is finally Gaga doing her version of it but not as poppy as my typically does. Personally this is her finally going into it head first and EMBRACING IT. I didn’t get grunge like the rumors said but she finally leaned into actual industrial. The interludes/breaks in between were super industrial. her outfits were like medieval gothic, but fashion. She was like a nun/abbess, a gothic bride, and she had like black harness/armor at the end (the helmet looked like a black version of the paparazzi helmet from the tour) The stage was a destroyed cathedral which I guess could be just a nods being a destroyed opera house from the tour since the stage is on fire and burning during bad romance on the tour. It was so cool! Personally I am obsessed with that industrial and gothic darkwave sound. I like listening to boy harsher, the cure, Siouxsie and the banshees, Depeche Mode, bauhaus etc….. was this performance inspired by that type of sound? I’ve honestly been waiting her whole career for something like that. I know mayhem is way lighter although partly influenced but not necessarily that sound. 1 1 1

guythatplaydoctor 102
After reading all the reports from the show, I'm praying for us to get this as a live album. Industrial, grunge, darkwave, rock Gaga is just otherwordly and unstoppable. It would be a dream for fans (including me) that wanted Gaga to go deeper into that sound someday + MAYHEM songs are so phenomenal the way they are, I can't even imagine their revamp in harder soundscapes. 4 2
