I have a soft spot for this album, it saw me through a very rough time. So while some tracks are lackluster at times (not just in production but also in songwriting), I think it was also due to Gaga missing her creative spark that usually elevates her work. The Album version of Babylon is FAR superior over the demo, the choir, the live instrumentals.. all amazing. She should have released it around the time of Enigma, and then expand it into the tour. Like slowly add some songs or the snippets and then unleash it, cause it visually would have kindaaa connected. All the Enigma naysayers need new ears, it's a brilliant song! Harlequin feels more like a Gaga album than Chromatica. 1000 Doves and Fun Tonight are two of the best songs. Why the f*ck did people like Alice so much?
