Great timing! It seems like Gaga's team is campaigning a little harder for the ROTY/SOTY nominations than AOTY. I really need them to make one big final push for the album by mid December

Depends on the publication. It was #2 in Rolling Stones 

If you get rid of all albums not nominated in AOTY, Mayhem would be #3 in this list. Honestly #2 even cause Let God Sort Em Out is a long shot in terms of chances

+great difference when we look at the collection of reviews (38 points vs 18 points) shows general favor towards Bad Bunny’s album 
 

+there will be a political motivation to vote for BB

well yeah. I never said he wasn't a contender. I was just saying that Mayhem being low on that list doesnt really mean she isnt. Bad Bunny is much more global too so its expected he over performs out of greater reach.

Nah I think it’s just they know for these lists they have a better shot for individual songs than album. I feel like these lists generally suit songs better anyway in terms of visibility. Shes been on her biggest world tour in a decade+ and that is doing the lion’s share of album promo

While im dying for Gaga to FINALLY win AOTY i can live with the results if she at least wins Song Of The Year

 

At least 1 of the major categories shes never won before

 

If she looses both and despite having so many nods she once again only wins the small categories im gonna loose my sh*t

Gaga is always held to a much higher standard bc people EXPECT so much from her…which sucks. Pitchfork just ranked Mayhem as #30 best POP album of 2025… like wtf?? There’s no way there are TWENTY NINE better *POP* albums than Mayhem this year. Come on. Literally Joanne might have been the 30th best pop album of 2016 but def not Mayhem lol. I love Addison and her debut is sublime but you cannot tell me that her record is better than Mayhem on any level.
