It’s a pretty simple horror movie elevated by some amazing acting and directing choices but it’s not exactly groundbreaking. Glad I saw it before hearing tooo much. I liked it a little more than backrooms even though that concept has a lot more meat to it. Awesome year for Gen Z directors though I’m living for their work! It was fun and made me feel very uncomfortable just in the setting of everything being so random and nonsensical. I would love it to become a franchise. They could explore that world more. I wasn’t sure how they were gonna make it into a feature length film but it manages to keep you on edge while also staying true to the original video concepts.
