She's jumping up and down because she knows she's winning AOTY and possibly ROTY on top of pop prizes. Her team 100% knows that the math is in her favor... I hope she's in the spotlight during December with Mayhem promo to seal the deal.

Of course that's great news and it's absolutely deserved, but I'm also keeping in mind that Interscope really played the game and campaigned hard for it to happen. I wish artists with less budget had more of a chance with these things - for instance, Alison Goldfrapp's album is one of the best of the year and it got 0 nom because she's on her own label and barely has enough money to tour, let alone to lobby Grammy executives. This whole awards system is a bit disheartening sometimes.

I felt the genuine happiness in that video. It put the biggest smile on my face. 
Mayhem deserves to win. Gaga deserves to win.

Kendrick’s chances collapsed completely now that there’s 3 critically acclaimed rap albums in AOTY, plus an RnB album too. Even if he obtains the most votes out of the three, a rap vote split is imminent. Unless he pulls some serious campaign or pay voters it will be  quite unlikely for him to win AOTY. The big threat now is Bad Bunny

Nothing against Kendrick but godam it. Gaga has won quite a few Grammys but shes never winning the big main categories. Would be nice to finally have AOTY!

 

Tho the fact TS keeps winning that category almost makes me not respect it anyway but still

This clip is pure joy. 7 jumps for 7 nominations! This is the happiest I've seen her in years and the proudest I've seen her be towards an album in years. What a burst of energy this must have given her after touring for so long. The passionate way she continued to sing afterwards comes from such a genuine place of gratitude. 17 years later and she's breaking her record for most nominations in a night. We picked the right artist to stan.
