The album has only one proper hit single Applause since DWUW is removed from all streaming services and G.U.Y. mostly does the numbers of a non-single. Applause alone is carrying more than half of the album's streams.

Daenerys

It’s because we are so loyal to the album that we have our purchased digital copies in our library that we listen to, so there’s no reason to stream it anywhere :vegas:

I'm an ARTPOP truther but I don't stream it, I listen to demos and fan mixes. Like aura, fashion!, Brooklyn nights, IWBWU, DWUW solo, MJH... I could go on. This album has GEMS they just sucked some of the soul out of the final product and I just don't like the final product but the ERA? The live performances? IMMACULATE. The fashion from her stint in Japan was legendary, her landing in Greece etc. Theres a LOT to defend, celebrate and uphold but like again, the final product (The Album) just isn't perfect.

how is btw so lowww :cryga:

Born This Way was very weak on streaming until in more recent years. ARTPOP was actually pretty strong on streaming, and the album actually did a good job of transitioning her into the streaming era. I'm not sure why its streams are so low.

Came here to say the same as some other members.

True ARTPOP stans actually watch the content. The live performances, the YouTube fan made versions, plus, we have our foil cover physical copy that we ripped directly onto our computers and devices, because it has the original tracklist for the real ARTPOP experience.

I might be the only fan who doesn't get the hype over the demos. They are pretty similar to the final versions on the album. :huntyga:

If you compare the instrumentals alone youll see

I never listen to ARTPOP on streaming because I play the digital version with Do What U Want.

There won’t be fans enough to help with that if the gp didn’t have it, like never.

shes a multi billion streamed anyways, so we are good, especially considering the times she came from. The fact she was able to reframe herself through streaming era after everything she went through is actually laudable.

The fashion demo is completely different?

ESPECIALLY the Instrumental

The aura vocals are completely different

The Mary Jane Holland demo has a very different prechorus that is a LOT more like how she did it live

Like??? They're objectively different this take is INSANE

The problem is that we are the ONLY ones listening. All the other albums either have current mainstream appeal or nostalgic hits that play on rotation on every pop playlist ever. Without having more than one successful single, there's nothing for the general public to know and listen to regularly. For an album that went so under the radar tbh those levels of streaming are amazing. The fans are keeping her alive

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

Yes the Fashion! demo is so different but the final version is far better. That instrumental is a mess and I'm glad the final version is different.

This one, I like the demo version of pre chorus more too. The final version is a bit polished.

Unpopular opinion: I actually think modification of the the demo version of the first verse is so unnecessary and the final version is as perfect as it is.
