Is seeing stealing? I don't think so... At all times humans got inspired by art that isn't theirs. But there's something interesting about AI: we are in the age of neural engines: AI, once it has processed informations that are used to train it, creates something different, and also unique: it has learnt how to generate, it's completely new material, there's no link between the processed work and the created work. Remember when microwaves were supposedly giving everyone cancer? Or the early fears about the internet, cell phones, even tattoos? History shows us that panicking doesn’t stop innovation or art, it just delays enjoying it. Yep I always say people were like that when books were invented Follow every rainbow till you find your dream

But I believe we will self correct in the future, much because what we have now isn't even real AI, we just have prediction models, when AGI becomes a reality, that's when things can start improving (or deteriorating ). I don’t even want to imagine what privatized AGI will look like or bring 🫠 We are definitely starting off on the wrong foot. I just wish that people would think about using AI more critically and meaningfully rather than accepting this current form as inevitable and unavoidable. Hell, even the internet in its current form shouldn’t be considered as its prime state considering how it’s been perverted by capitalistic and right wing interests.

And say why you are not advocating for the use of AI on this matter. Thanks Honestly @metalpsi, i would like to try it but i dont know how and not sure if i have time for it, money and resources for it. But... i dont want to put it out there publicly if i finish it, with all due respect to Gaga, her team, and music video creators in the music industry. Especially if I use Gaga's face. Maybe if i use an AI generated girl's face or my face haha! I imagine Garden of Eden music video in a laboratory, not sure why . Knowing Gaga, she will not do the obvious...which is making the setting a garden or some biblical setting. Then a heavy dance choreo ofcourse. I dont see the issue with AI when ur making stuff for fun... this isnt stealing any jobs because its not replacing a video that would have otherwise came... I believe AI is 100% necessary for the continuation of the human race and the solution of the Great Filter. Now, I'm not saying AI right now is good or even "real" AI, but we are just starting, in the future (say 1000 years from now) I believe the human race will be doomed if we don't have a superior intelligence guiding/aiding us and I believe the human race will go extinct if this doesn't happen (the solution of the great filter). 1000 years? Ur odly optimistic we can even hold out that long 3 hours ago, tlittlemonster said: She reposts AI Content of her all the time I do understand your concerns though, it's a tricky one. I guess it all depends on the outcome It could be something really cool and, on the other side, it could be something that just looks weird @nATAH Im also gonna add here... iff her face is the issue would drawing of her face also be a problem then? If image use is a problem then it has to apply to all forms not just digital

ReplayBoss 290
How about we instead do an animation collab where we animate a small section of the video and compile it together? The scars on my mind are on replay, r-replay

huttont 5,332
I’m just here to say that AI terrifies me. Humanity at its core will suffer. I already am questioning every photograph and video I see on social media. And it’s going to get way worse. Humans have no impulse control. It will be abused and used for nefarious purposes. 1

Not exactly harmless. One harmless fan video doesn’t steal, doesn’t drain water, and doesn’t destroy critical thinking. Blaming all AI for corporate-scale abuse is fear-mongering, not logic.
