agreed. It's very much sounding like her previous release. No growth or change of sound - which isn't necessary to be great, but I would have liked something a bit spookier or witchy since it's being released on Halloween.

She's sick for this, I cannot even 🫠 its so bizzare yet so catchy, chaotic yet melodic? She seems to be returning to the og theme of Dance fever, but darker and Witcher!

I love Florence + The Machine but I can’t connect to this song after the initial listen. Although I enjoy the visuals, and I was always obsessed with her major witch energy. I’m looking forward to the rest of the album.

Ngl, and this is going to sound very ironic coming from a Gaga fan, but the meta-performance trope is a bit tired atp. Very good song, tho.

The soundscape is very horror movie though? And the screams, moans, chants? Literal lyrics about potions, spells etc? :p only things missing is  witch hats, black cats and broom riding

If I had a dime every time an artist wears a red dress for a witchy song, I’d have 2 from this year 

I gave this a few listen and I think it’s decent. Feels like a continuation to Dance Fever. Could have gone even witchier. But I can’t say that I remember it. Doesn’t quite have a hook.
