DWAS was massive on TikTok, currently with over 3M videos, and Sabrina is literally the tiktok girly 

And today TDD did 1.5M filtered and 1.8 unfiltered miss nagini.

2nd of all... of course GP carries the hits, i been saying this for ages. Our hardcore fan base simply isnt large enough to make songs hits on their own (plus this fan base isnt 14 years old anymore, were not gonna endlessly stream all day and buy a song on itunes multiple times just to have pur fav chart higher. Thats a Kpop fan thing to do )

 

Ppl have clearly loved this era and are streaming, the fan support is there. But its also a numbers issue, were not quite big enough to make a song a hit if we dont have at least some of the GP on board. Proof of this is that DWAS was a way bigger hit than Disease despite the latter being way more raved about by fan base

 

And before u call her fan base crap, lets also not forget Gaga is literally the only female artist from before 2010 besides Taylor Swift that currently still has a high degree of relevance at this time. She wouldnt have lasted this long with a sh*t fan base cuz pop careers are not known for generally lasting almost 2 decades

Tell em, sister. Stans don’t run the charts. We like to think we’re active participants, but we’re spectators. Some people would be a lot happier if they just accepted that.
