it can be both, maybe mustang was a leaked demo or maybe it was just fake and interscope was just poaching anything that had "lady gaga leak" in it at the time

what i'm really saying is this doesn't mean dead dance is coming any time soon (or at all) cus i've seen multiple cases where this has happened and nothing to follow up

I work in music videos and it's pretty insane how videos can be shot and sometimes 100% completed then it gets scrapped, sometimes not even releasing the single anymore. Makes me wonder how many times besides DWUW has that happened with Gaga

Ok, as long as there’s no confirmation that they’re absolutely fake 

 

But yeah it’s a little annoying when these rumors are fabricated, boosted and then, when nothing comes of it, Gaga is somehow blamed for the hype.

I live for those snippets too, I think it’s a combo of both: some snippets were extended/enhanced Ai derived from the real leaks? I thought Mustang was registered?

The emails people got from being taken down called the song Mustang, but I can't remember if the GOE ones were called Girlfriend or not

Mustang is a fake song made by a French guy who wrote the lyrics on chatgpt and some videos of it were taken down by the algorithm because they featured "LG7" in the tags. Whenever it was posted without it, it was untouched but still fake
