My relationship ended this year in Jan after 4.5 years being together, we lived together travelled the world etc 

it’s been 5 months now and I’m doing okay but it was sure hell, won so much in life too but when the song comes i just smile and tear up

I deeply connect with Vanish Into You because of my last romantic relationship, it was intense, chaotic, almost surreal. Somehow, with this song, Gaga looks me in the eyes again and speaks directly to me.

We met unexpectedly, both of us carrying heavy, messy pasts, intense love stories, identity struggles, family issues, toxic friendships, money problems, substance use... One of the few things that gave us peace was escaping to the mountains. It became our sacred place, a symbol of something real and pure.

"It was cold in the summertime, we were happy just to be alive."

I’ll always remember 2019 as the last time I felt somewhat okay. My life was already chaotic, but after COVID, it just collapsed. That line hits hard, it really was cold in the summertime, but somehow being alive still felt like a win. And when the "sirens blow by our heads", I’m taken straight back to that time, trying to escape from our city, driving through the mountains of Spain trying to get to Burgos, with helicopters flying around and almost no cars on the highway, running away from everything, from our problems, from our lives, from our families and friends, we just needed us. Until the police stopped us. That moment changed everything. I lost my license , and everything started falling apart. I spiraled into benzos, alcohol, cannabis, other substances... I just wanted to feel okay in the middle of all that chaos.

My identity was shattered. And even today, I still feel like I’m stuck in 2019, trying to get my life back. But it doesn’t come back the way I probably wanted. My life has changed a lot but I feel like I can't come back... I try, I keep going, but it’s hard, so hard. 

Thank you, Gaga, for these little gifts you give me, always when I need them most.

This is me rn literally 5 years and this song f*cks me up. I’m trying to enjoy the message that it’s a fan song for us and not the other way around

I'm obsessed with the song but I get it. I wish she had less vocal layering throughout the entire song. I thought it sounded much better live and realized it's because there's way less noise. Regardless, this needs to be her next single... her team would be crazy to not give it a shot.

I kinda wish it was the telephone sequel bc I have this vision in my head of them driving off a cliff Thelma and Louise style and it’s all in slo-mo and cuts to them inside the car singing the chorus to each other (not in slo mo but the car falling is—bc they’re in their own moment) while they fall to their death but together

I think it would be a little unexpected a sequel and that’s kinda cool to me
