The more I listen to Vanish Into You, the more I understand it. I’ve taken the time to really dive into the lyrics, and they move me so deeply. I truly think this might be the saddest — and maybe most beautiful — song Gaga has ever written.

I’ve been in a relationship with my partner for almost 8 years now. And when I listen to this song, I feel every single word. The highs, the lows, the joys, the heartbreaks. Loving someone for this long means holding both light and shadow — but ultimately, there’s this transcendent love that grounds it all.

Sometimes, I genuinely wish I could vanish into him. He is my safe place. And truthfully, I don’t know how I would keep going if I lost him.

Thank you, Gaga, for putting into words a feeling I didn’t even know how to express.

I HATED that song when I was listening to the album for the first time. Honestly? I only fell in love with it after I saw some viral TikToks about it being about Tony oh and after Coachella. this short sentence has so many emotions, fears, wishes, everything that u have in a beautiful relationship, like honestly, I love my husband so much and I can't see my life without him, there are beautiful love stories and I'm lucky to be part of one, the complicity is so fulfilling.
