Why not both? The point of a biopic is to tell the story of a specific person’s life. That involves getting an actor that resembles that person. Like, Rami Malek and Taron Egerton made for believable-looking Freddie Mercury and Elton John. I think all the people they cast here are good actors, but just being a good actor isn’t enough for a biopic.

Yeah, it's amazing how Rami and Taron looked exactly like them without any additional hair and makeup.
