0% chance the Drake numbers are genuine. I've never been more convinced artists use bots than with him...if it were 2016 then, sure. But in 2026? No way.

When Apple Music claimed he was the most streamed artist of 2025 on their platform I thought it was fishy enough, but seeing all of the Iceman & other 2 albums tracks flooding the charts this week...not to mention the fact we know he pays influencers to talk about his music...yeah, bots confirmed.

The older I get, the more I believe most of the big artists just cheat. I'm not even joking anymore. I think they somehow ink deals behind closed doors. Because there cannot be that many people gagging over this man's music. He is not in the peak of his career. There is nothing indicating the youth are super into rap right now more than they ever have been. He is wildly hated on. He is not even a US artist. And the music was not very good. All these things combined when the internet has not really been talking about it that much...I don't know. To pull numbers better than Gaga and Bad Bunny and Beyonce and Sabrina and Olivia and Billie's most recent albums?

 

That is not believable. I'm sorry. This man has never been this unpopular and he is in his mid forties cringely dating young girls whilst rapping about making money in an era where people think bragging about money and wealth is tacky and out of touch. You cannot convince me this man is this hyped.

I know so many who listen to Drake. In fact I went to my parents yesterday and my brother was playing his album

 

I think it depends on the crowd. Depending who is in ur social circle and your algorithms u can get an interpretation and perception way off reality

 

On my end I know way more ppl listening to Drake than Gaga for example. Hes far from dead
