I think she’s doing it on purpose

who approved her to wear this? I think she wants people to notice it and talk about it.

Seeing her like this is extremely concerning and I think it absolutely should be talked about and brought to everybody around her’s attention… why should we normalize it and just say “wow talking about it means you’re a bad person!!!”

Those stills make it quite clear that she's dangerously underweight. You can see her skeletal structure through her skin, that's not normal or healthy. 

I know a lot of stans are very skittish around talking about women's weight and body appearance (including us Monsters) but this is more than just her being skinnier than she was in the 2010s

The video & song definitely feel like she is trying to “get out in front of” online narratives about her life & reclaim control of her image in a meta way…

but she’s not really saying much… except “hey so I hear what all of you are saying”

Edit- We’re all playing armchair psychologists in threads like this because of her appearance, but tbh, I’ve always thought AG was mentally/emotionally sick in more ways than one (as talented as she is)

I don’t think it’s even we’re trying to diagnose her with anything 

it’s just she looks concerningly frail and underweight. It’s as plain and simple as that

Scrutinizing a person's weight and appearance is a fast track to getting them to scrutinize their own weight and appearance. It contributes to whatever underlying challenges the person is already facing.

Ariana knows what people are saying about her. Saying more won't change anything, it just adds to the pressure. What happens when we are scrutinized and shamed and pressured by a community? We start doing dumb **** to ourselves. 

Ariana and those whom she trusts are the only people who can help with whatever she's is working through.

Idle speculation is NOT helpful.

I typically keep my mouth shut about this topic online, but we all know what happened with Karen Carpenter, and I'm horrified to see Ariana going down the same path. 

I know there's nothing I can say or do to help her, so I'm just hoping that she's able to overcome whatever it is that's going on with her.

It is zero speculation that her bones are popping out and she looks unhealthy and it’s concerning 

I think she should feel pressured to get help.

It’s irresponsible for anybody to ignore this.

She clearly is wanting people to see her bones as she is putting them on full display every single opportunity she can.

Yes, she’s flaunting and glamorizing her ED. She’s had anorexia since the beginning of her music career. I still remember her pro-Ana Tumblr back in 2013. But the situation spiraled out of control due to the whole Ethan/Wicked scandal.

She’s not a good person, but I don’t wish this illness on anyone. Unfortunately she refuses to get help despite being a multi-millionaire with all the resources available.

She’s dying in front of our eyes, just like Karen Carpenter. It’s heartbreaking, but we have to keep talking about it. I know it’s not going to help her, but if it discourages young girls from trying to look like her, I’m fine with it.

I don't think anyone is trying to change her eating habits, it's just a really fascinating topic because she has everything in life, she is young, rich and healhy (?). She should be swimming in bliss day after day but clearly something else is going on

Even if the fans were 100% right, it's still her body and we don't know everything about it, nor are we entitled to any knowledge about it.

Girl has been through a lot. Imagine trying to come back from watching your fans being gunned down during your concert.
