It's about the art of the experience, the album. Some of y'all expect BTW-level exposure which wouldn't be great for two reasons: one, it's overexposure and would look desperate. If she performed abra a few times here and there that would not make her less of a legend. Performing her single on a tv show would not be good but its perfectly fine to eat hot wings and sing d*ck in a box? be for real. she just doesnt want to. it is sad but it is what it is. some of you need to understand that some fans MISS her performances because her last pop performance on tv was on 2020, and the one before that was ayo if we count it and if not ARTPOP. you really dont need to justify everything, people are allowed to be disappointed, as long as they dont isult her, whats the problem? “you should be grateful” like… no?? a singer singing and making songs is not something we should praise? its literally her job and she chose to do it. people are ALLOWED to have opinions and dislike that she is not performing her current songs and that is OK. Not everyone has to like jazz and shallow and that is OK. You can like certain things a singer does and dislike others and that is OK. If her fans complain for a perfectly reasonable reason they are not fans of a lower level, they just have different opinions. I cant stand that some of you think that you are morally superior for liking EVERYTHING and every decision she makes. If you like her to perform shallow in the middle of the mayhem album cycle its fine, but understand that some people dont. And no, everything is not a part of a meticulous plan or strategy of promotion that will come alive when the album drops. she just isnt performing because she just doesnt want to. its that simple. That's the tone of the promo so far, to me at least. It's like "Omg, look at our queen: sure she's wearing a sculptural couture dress, but look — she's eating hot wings!"
