phantasmas 10,558
Not only is 'Cowboy Carter' the highest grossing country tour EVER but according to Touring Data, Beyoncé’s lifetime touring revenue has now officially surpassed a jaw-dropping $2 billion across 14 million tickets sold since 2004. With this seismic milestone, she becomes only the second woman in history after Taylor Swift to cross the $2 billion threshold. She is also the first Black artist in music history to achieve it. Beyonce is also the first woman to have: - Two U.S. tours grossing over $300 million (“Renaissance” and “Cowboy Carter”) - Two tours grossing over $400 million worldwide - Multiple tours averaging over $10 million per show She now holds the record for most stadiums (5) grossing over $100M each in ticket sales: - MetLife Stadium, East Rutherford, $134.9M - Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Atlanta, $109.3M - Soldier Field, Chicago, $102.0M - SoFi Stadium, Inglewood, $101.2M - Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, London, $100.6M Source: https://www.yahoo.com/entertainment/articles/beyonc-becomes-first-black-artist-113111364.html 4 6 1 3

The only ones cheering for this are beehives toxic personas from X. I want to go to concerts, I want to celebrate music and support the artists I like, but everything has its limits. It's just a concert. Milking customers, fans, and casual listeners—that's not the way to go. Edited July 30 by Simon 9 1 2

River 116,802
So sad that even concerts became a way to squeeze money out of us.. nobody should make this amount of money from a tour. I'm sure many of you feels this anger when u think about how much u spent to see Gaga and maybe there's a little voice that tells you to just sell it and f-ck everything.. I know I'm gonna enjoy the show, but the price was too much and I kinda regret buying the tickets. Congrats Bey I guess, hoard that damned money in your bank, hopefully one day some brave president will tax the sh-t out of you and all the disgusting rich people in America. So sploosh your juice all over me you Riverboy

DeanSummer 1,175
I saw it in Paris and it was a great show. Unfortunately I had the wrong setlist but for 40€ that I paid on StubHub for GA I think it was okay that I didn't know all of the songs ^^ DS

Yeah, I feel like with the direction of travel in touring pricing that these records will be so short lived. It used to be that the tours that broke records or set the initial records were truly monolithic achievements and culture defining moments and the legacies were long running. So many tours now are pulling insane gross figures while having half the impact at best of previous tours.

My friends bought my tickets for Beyonce and Gaga but watching them drop so much money on me and themselves definitely gave me the ick!
