LilMonst3r 5,460
I love that ending. It has a bite to it. All those who spend their time on the internet just Yapping and pretending to be on a high horse cause they post more about the topic than anyone else should take several seats when that mentality starts to buzz. Those who are actively shifting ground and energy to help Palestine deserve all the attention that all these social media activists beg for. (I also dont mean to minimize what social media activists do. Many of them spread awareness and their work is essential as well.) I am speaking about the ones who spend time pointing fingers at others cause they want to force a reaction out of the person they are ridiculing. dollardays 3,845
Posting a link to donate directly to struggling families to her 25 million followers could actually be impactful, but y'all ain't ready for this conversation

Public figures (not just her ofc) could easily sidestep the snark by putting up money along with the link. Like I said in the earlier thread about this situation, the handling of this was messy but now she's openly condemning the genocide. Something everyone should be doing along with communicating to their representatives how important stopping it is to them. Celebs love posting about thoughts and prayers when a wildfire affects Cali or a tsunami does damage to Japan because they know they can make change happen with low effort by pointing at the problem. Well, there's a genocide being livestreamed right now. If you don't want fingers pointed at you, then point your own finger at the problem. Mirrion Rizzons 10,983
Another point, the ad feels targeted to cause outrage from left-leaning individuals, which in turn, gives the right ammunition to further criticise us - gaslighting 101. So many publications are using headlines outright criticising the left. EDIT: Was meant for the sydney thread Edited Thursday at 10:28 PM by Mirrion Rizzons
