Great actor, but I've officially given up on HP after trying so, so hard to give Rowling the benefit of the doubt since 2019. Finally dumped my collection in storage permanently and I'm getting my deathly hallows tattoo covered up next week (I've had it since 2009).

But why? Why do we need a Harry Potter series when the films, books, video game, and even the damn theme park covers everything there is? :laughga: I'm not even coming at this from someone who denounces JK Rowling — I had the same thoughts about the Lord of The Rings series that they did in 2022. The Hogwarts world is just not that expansive, so this is clearly just milking a cow dry, and that tank is already empty. :fail:

Goodness I loved him in Dexter!

Yeah. Very incisive is the least we can say. I loved him recently in season 2 of The Old Man ! Great actor. Can be so suave yet sometimes just so chilling scary...

Late to the party but I got a diamond heart

What I want to know is with the actors from the first Harry Potter franchise growing up so fast, and now with television series having 2 - 3 year gaps for big blockbuster productions on platforms. How are the kids not going to be in their 40’s by deathly hallows?! 🤷‍♂️  Harry Potter had some films released one year right after another, and those kids still grew up fast!!!

Is this series gonna be controversial because of JK Rowling? Is she even involved?

Apparently yes so make sure you don’t pay to watch it

I would be shocked if this thing lasts more than 3 seasons before falling apart, for any number of reasons.

in the series' defense: the movies really didn't treat 'everything' that was in the books.

A series will really give the books and characters more than enough time to shine, and to explore certain parts of the books we've never seen yet. there's so much more to discover and enjoy.

Casting is key tho...
