I was a big fan of hers, still love many of her songs, but can't defend her as a person, she proved to be out of touch  multiple of times, everything she does it's for her own gain and her own image.

The reaction she is getting is why public figures say nothing, how do we know where she puts her money in terms of donations as well? That’s all assumption outside of her speaking on the issue which is more than many other celebs have done unfortunately.

I wish culturally we can stop demanding celebrities to speak out because they have “influence”. They have little to zero influence on ending wars. 

Demand it from your elected officials instead of asking for performative activism from your favourite celebs.
