May Abracadabra be our anthems I think we can expect a top 20 debut on BBH100, in just 4 days it's really good. Ever since it was confirmed that Gaga would've gone #1 with BTW in the UK if she'd had a full tracking week, its always infuriated me and I've never forgotten it. This is looking promising. Disease, by some miracle, debuted at #7 so even with less days, I knew Abra would have the chance to peak higher, if it was quite a slow week, which it was. Only one position higher, but again, considering it had no UK promo and the last single didn't truly take off, we're already off to a better start. Would've been better with a full tracking week, but hey, in the streaming age, debut weeks are no longer the be all and end all of your UK chances, or your international chances, come to that. As we saw with DWAS, songs can now peak weeks, sometimes even months, after their debut. Now non-fans are aware the song exists and radio will support it as its debuted in the top 10 and is therefore popular, there's every chance it could re-peak next week and beyond.
