Critics and fans' main complaints about her albums is that they all sound the same and she never evolved musically but she keeps releasing the same stuff over and over again... She's not reading them well enough or she just decides to ignore the GOOD criticism

tbh pink has released the same album again and again since 2006 and is still relatively successful

Id say since 2008. 

Funhouse isn't comparable to I'm Not Dead. 

But Truth About Love was a clear Funhouse pt 2. And Beautiful Trauma/Hurts 2B Human/Trustfall all repeated the most successful part singles of Truth About Love.

 

The difference is, P!nk is a talented song writer who's releasing adult contemporary (which never flops for anyone lol). Katy Perry has zero creativity and keeps trying to release 2010 top 40 music.

Not familiar with PInk's music but the fact is that Katy's core fanbase at her peak were kids and teens and now everyone has grown but she's still releasing kids music.

Harleys in Hawaii is her most successful song since like 2013 and that's most because it's her most unique song & music video, giving a more adult & chill vibe...  not the typical Katy Perry if you know what I mean

She seems to be hoping that a positive angle makes everything better as she was a lot more sad and reflective when it came to looking back on flops before now. But she could really benefit from reading those negative reviews because drowning it all out is why she isn't getting sales, stadium tours or Grammys. She really needs to look at her peers and see where they're going right where she's going wrong. Playing it safe is officially out of style, you just need to see the success of Billie, Beyonce, Charli, Gaga, Chappell, etc. as proof of that. It's sad that when all these women are making their most personal albums that involve them being raw and uncontained artistically while Katy's still churning out the same style of song and very generic ones at that on the album that she considers her most personal. Motherhood usually brings out some of the best work of a woman's career, Katy's turned out her worst. Which I think is proof that she wasn't as creatively involved as those song credits would have you believe, her lyrical style is so different this time I highly suspect she had minimal involvement. Many critics said her work seemed like it was produced by AI. That is not someone's most personal album and she can say what she wants, the public know they're being lied to. She's going to have to listen to what they say if she wants to have any semblance of a career in future.

Wow, she paid a therapist God knows how many thousands of dollars to tell her the most run-of-the-mill, generic, basic sentiment that any unqualified nobody on the street would've happily provided free of charge. LA therapists are taking these celebrities for a ride. She says it as if it's the most mindblowingly groundbreaking piece of advice that she never considered before too. But maybe that's something that people with more money than sense gaslight themselves into believing to get over how much money they're paying to hear it. And that advice only works if you're a good person anyway.

Katy once said that she researches what's the most popular current slang, memes and trends so she can incorporate them into her songs so they can be more relatable. That's why you hear so much dated terminology like "epic fail," "straight stunting," "champagne problems" and "keeps receipts" in her lyrics. And why her videos mirror the same like This Is How We Do and Swish Swish. So, yeah, that definitely sounds like someone who would Google themselves daily. I'm amazed she can still do that right now.

She says only read it if it’s good and don’t if it’s bad I get that with the GP and comments and stuff but reviews from music magazines,sites ect I think is a bit different she should read them so she doesn’t make the same mistakes
