“Die With A Smile” rises +4 spots to a new peak of #1 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart this week. It’s Lady Gaga’s 8th career chart-topper & Bruno’s milestone 10th.

Lady Gaga earns her first #1 since 2011 on Billboard’s Pop Airplay chart this week with “Die With A Smile”. She breaks Mariah Carey’s record for the longest gap between #1’s (13 years).

I know the longest gap sounds a bit like a drag but honestly it shows how long into her career she can achieve another no.1 when so many artists have a hit then just fizzle out the window. Of course having one every two years or so would be better but I’ll take it.

So applause, shallow, ROM never went number 1? Very strange

Applause peaked at #4, ROM at #9. Shallow, i think, at 17...it's not pop though. It would have never peaked at #1 on pop. On the other hand, Shallow peaked at #10 on overall radio, despite not being Top 10 on pop
