Kamala was taking away rights too. The Democrats didn't do anything about Roe v. Wade. They didn't do anything about the camps at the border. They didn't do anything meaningful about any important issue except trying to pander to Republicans for some reason. And they do this every single time, and yet somehow everyone still believes they're the ones protecting their rights.

Remember: they were the ones saying Biden's hands were tied in a lot of issues, yet have no problem acknowledging that Trump will have the power to do things. The truth here is that the Democrats are useful idiots that try to pander to the right will trying to squander any meaningful attempt at progressive reforms.

It's not the divisiveness that contributed to it. It was the Democrats that had their heads too far up their own asses to acknolowedge things were going awry. They're a bunch of elitists that think they're the anwer to everything yet they don't ever listen to what the people are trying to say. If you all keep blaming the left, we will have Trump and Trump lookalikes for the next three decades.

Girl, democrats and republicans were tied in both chambers of congress 50/50  his entire presidency on top of the Supreme Court rejecting a lot of his proposals. Trump has all chambers of congress and the Supreme Court in his favor.

If they’re under the right Visa (student visa) it shouldn’t be a problem. I have a family member who studied there with a student visa approved during Obama’s term and ended his studies mid Trump’s term. No issue really

There is probably no issue, I m myself under a worker visa. However, when the visa will expire, it might get more complicated to renew it. But its hard to predict at the time

Biden was the president. The PRESIDENT. Not everything has to go through Congress, and not everything has to be bipartisan. I can't understand why there's such insistence on the Democrats being this powerful force for good that must be voted for no matter what, even when they don't or won't do anything. Loyal voters always have endless excuses for their inaction.

Yet when it comes to electing more progressive candidates with real convictions, you insist they're unelectable and discard them, even though they've shown popular support. You're committed to a disguised conservatism whilst also talking about "rights" and "minorities" and "migrants" as if they were better under the Democrats, using their identity as a weapon for votes and artificial support that is not based on any material gains, but just "vibes" (I'm not talking about you specifically).

Do you know how many liberals I've read on Twitter outright berating African-American voters, migrants, ang LGBTQ+ people for apparently, according to them, not sticking to this line of thought? Their support is only performative.

When facing the truth, that this might all be connected, that the Democrats' inaction may not be an isolated occurrence, you hesitate. Democrats have based their campaigns (especially in past elections, cuz now they barely offer any proposals at all) on promises they rarely keep, governing instead through conservative, bipartisan agreements. Maybe that's not a coincidence.

The Democrats are either the most idiotic party in existence, or they benefit from repeatedly manipulating their base, dangling "rights" they never actually protect, like a carrot to a horse, every election cycle. They've done it time and time again, and time and time again the only thing they accomplish is more blood, more division, more fascism.

Kamala Harris is as fascist as Donald Trump is. The only difference is that he's more overtly so.

People throw around the word facist with no understanding of what facism is apparently

Here is your throat back, thanks for the loan

Loving how quiet this kind of thread is now that he's elected and these policies are on track to become a reality. A few months ago when some of us were warning about them there was a whole lot of "you're hyperbolizing" and "stop fearmongering"

I think, even though it is apparent now this was inevitable, there was still hope the country wouldn’t head in this direction. I’m not from the US, visit a lot due to my partner who is from the states, but there was still hope. Sadly I think America has chosen to learn a very hard lesson before recognising the right way forward once again. I just hope the policies aren’t too hard lined and quick but it’s not looking good.

Right now I hope we get everything he promised. Everything they voted for. It's very obvious to me see as a country only learn the hate way if we learn anything at all.

I think there is a part of America right now that feel defeated, powerless to deal with it the possible outcome or if all. Some are probably numb still and even felling sad.  It's too soon.

Others have hope or believe  that it won't be that bad.

Here's hoping that when he ****s over the economy and he hasn't made more money appear in people's wallets, the house and senate flips in the mid-terms and he spends the rest of his presidency with his hands tied :vegas:

Do you feel him sir?

I think this is the only hope we can focus on at the moment but I also feel Dems shouldn’t take this as an inevitability. They need to come hard and realign with a new approach and fast.

Oh yeah they definitely need to take a hard look at where they're going wrong and rebuild from the ground up.

I want to see what he does with RFK. If he actually gives health to that loon .... then anything is possible. And I mean that in a bad way.

blaming kamala for bidens mistakes is textbook sexism

she barely had control over roe v wade

YOU KNOW WHO IS TO BLAME TRUMP FOR INSTALLING CONSERVATIVE JUDGES THAT REVERSED IT AND BIDEN FOR NOT DOING ENOUGH TO FIX THE SCOTUS' DAMAGE.

blame the men who ****ed it up not the woman who barely had any power

This is because of the GOP will control house and senate no?

The president is not supposed to have all the power (but Trump wants to change this obviously)
