I would also like to add that there are a lot of homeless people or maybe they’re not homeless so just toothless… Perhaps both but it is a very scary feeling especially when you’re stuck in the middle of the state and you have to drive zigzag for about like two hours on the map

 

But also, there are so many parts of it that are so beautiful especially that the longest and tallest bridge that’s suspended… It’s a perfect vacation place, but not somewhere. I think I would like to live and I hope that’s OK.

The way we knew Lula won at 8p.m, 3 hours after the polls closed. I keep looking at this count and the speed feels like a comedy sketch

The speed of counting, the use of paper, the different times of polls closing, each state deciding their own rules for voting, the electoral points thing, basically EVERYTHING. You guys have no idea how dramatically different it is for us in other countries. I'm not being funny when I say it feels like a joke. I'm being dead serious.

I mean, in all fairness, we have 9 different time zones in the US while Brazil only has 4. The polls haven’t even closed in California because it’s a 3 hour time difference between the East and West coast

This is actually kinda better for us at the moment. With the election interference the US already experiences from foreign entities, it would be even easier for them to do it if we did this electronically.

Also we have to do this? We have 9 time zones? It's 8 PM for me but its only 5 PM in California. Are we supposed to close polls in some states at like 3 PM? I don't think some of you all realize how big the US is.
