What Is Happening? Is Gaga Okay?

This fan base is ridiculous. The song has barely been out 24 hours. It’s on billboards in NYC. They have adverts in place with all the streaming platforms. Gaga has been reposting fan TikTok’s on her IG. The music video is filmed and probably dropping Monday. 
What else should she have done at this point???

you guys realise the christmas freeze is going to kill Disease off the charts instantly, right?

if they want chart success, they need to be aiming for longevity rather than high debut and tanking by week 3

it's probably going to be a steady rollout of the music video, physical editions, interviews, maybe a performance and then a break for the holiday to plan single 2

When we tank by week 3 anyways and we peak at #17 for dropping things so separate then what?  Im curious to see what they have planned, but for now this looks... weird

Her alter ego of this era may be mysterious and macabre. Remember that Gaga had said that with this album she would return to her roots and among those things could be using alter egos to provide fantasy and mistery to this project.

I think both sides of this argument are valid. I believe some people are too impatient and want every. single. bit. of promo right now—which is unrealistic. That said, I also think it's valid to question why she hasn't been more active. Listen, I love the song. It's literally the only thing I've been streaming since it came out (and it'll probably be the only thing I stream for a couple of weeks), but I don't think it's crazy to want Gaga to be more active.

I've only seen a handful of people be nasty to Gaga for her silence, but generally speaking, I think people are being respectful about it. 

Her silence is probably due to the fact that she wants the music to speak for itself for a bit; it feels strategic. I mean, she was silent leading up to the release and only communicated to us via hints. Once we get the music video, she'll speak up more.
