It hasn’t met my expectations totally 10/10 but it’s getting a 9. But I was waiting on another Bad Romance and that was delusional to be fair. But I can see a choreo absolutely enhancing the song. 
 

my only real disappointment is not getting the video

it’s not GO friendly, longer than 3min, and very unorthodox compared to bubble pop songs (e.g. APT and Espresso). 
 

but I love it! i love PI as well! It makes me hype.

I like it a lot but we all know that her singles are seldom the best that the albums have to offer. I was actually pretty surprised when I first heard Disease because it does not sound like the type of track to have hit potential

Yeah, a choreo, or a MV would totally make or break the song. Again I have to say, WTF? She found a way to seamlessly squander another era.

I love the aggression of her approach here, but at the same time I'm not listening to it going WOW, because her voice has been in great shape for a while now and that's not shown off on this song imo. But there's a whole album out there and the likes of me will get their moments.

I love it! I admit I wasn’t convinced in the first few seconds, but this song has everything. Everything it needs and everything we wanted! It has that unique Gaga vibe that we were waiting for! I’m a bit worried about the general public’s reception, maybe it’ll have its moment around Halloween... but who cares... Maybe the nostalgic side some people might feel will make the general audience want this Gaga, so it could work! Let’s try to support and show Gaga some love, no matter what! The bridge is just incredible in terms of emotions, and the ending is absolutely amazing!

I’m also a bit surprised by some of the comments here… One moment people want dark, old-school Gaga pop, another moment they want something that works for the general public (though I actually think “Disease” is a good mix of both ideas and I think that's why it was chosen as the LEAD... trust the process jeez), and then there are those who want a lead single like Bad Romance (which is way overrated, to be honest). Just be happy that Gaga’s giving us well-produced songs like this one, giving us exactly what we wanted: DarkPop!

It's a great song in my opinion. I'm happy Gaga is not trying to fit GP by creating a song with a minimalistic production lasting 2:30 to get viral on tiktok. It's definitely a song she likes, because it's powerful. That's her most original lead with Perfect Illusion, because it's not meant for the club. 

My only issue is the lyrics which are too "Gaga" from 2010. 

When I hear it I totally see it being next to Dance in the S, Abracadabra & Notorious Being, as it sounds very pop rock industrial. We are officially getting a taste of what LG7 will be : a Pop Rock Industrial album with heavy production. We've been dreaming of it for ages ! 

Also it teachs us that NO insiders know anything because it sounds nothing like they said, not similar to Scheisse or HML.
