The restaurant opened on February 1, 2012. It is owned by Joe Germanotta, Lady Gaga's father. However, if you check their website it says the restaurant will be closed for at least a week beginning August 26, 2024. See here: https://joannenyc.com/ What could the msyterious reason be for this? Could it be that they are exterminating rats and cleaning up? Could it be because of renovations? Or could there be something going on that is being resolved privately? What do you think?
