I understand and agree with the sentiment, but people frequently use Satanism and devil worship accusations against influential figures to sway the more "impressionable" population's opinion. This is a political event that wants peoples votes, so using religion makes perfect sense. Specially in a time where alot of conservatives want to vote Democrat but arent sure yet.
