I’m good news: Kamala’s actually meeting with the serious parts of the protester’s movement

Already a massive upgrade from Biden :golfclap:

She’s a class act and I’m sure she’s gonna listen and talk to them. Support and understanding is what we need from our president

How have you not been banned yet?

They were gone 4 years ago but returned for some reason. If you look at their profile, none of their recent post have anything to do with Gaga. Seems like they’re here to just be the contrarian.

She broke message from the Biden administration before she was running, taking a more compassionate stance towards what's being done to the people of Palestine. Her VP pick is a decent person who has praised protestors speaking out. There will be time to put that kind of pressure on her to do something.

The first possible step towards the USA changing course on the genocide (unless Biden suddenly changes his mind after half a century) is getting the Harris administration elected.

So let the woman speak.

This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

The anti-protestors rhetoric here continues to be shocking. Imagine Israel decided to arrest, torture, rape and kill all Israeli gay people and the American government gave military aid to help organize this, and a group of American (!) people continuously tried to raise awareness for it and push politicans to publicly speak on America's unbridled support for it, you're telling me you would come on this site and say "Are these people still doing this ****? They are so annoying. Kamala is right for ignoring them"?

Yes, Kamala is a better choice than Trump. That's why putting pressure on her is important. If you are already in the know that you will vote for her, you have a moral responsibility to let her know it is critical for you that she stops America's complicity in an ongoing genocide that will be remembered as one of the most gruesome and internationally abided massacres of modern history. Aren't Dem voters supposed to be the ones that care? Like, care to stop innocent people from getting bombed, raped, starved? I guess not.

The responses in this thread are despicable. Condescending to members of a community that your administration is helping destroy is not some sort of "slay girlboss" moment.

She essentially told Arab protestors, many of whom have had family members murdered with bombs that the Biden-Harris administration gave Israel, to shut the f*ck up and stop complaining... because criticizing her publicly at all somehow leads to Trump winning. They do this same sh*t every single election cycle:

She "supports a ceasefire" in the sense that she's said those words out loud but has not, in any way, signaled that she's going to do anything to actually force Israel to stop blowing up innocent children. She's repeatedly voiced support for Israel, even within the last couple of weeks. Every single politician who has helped to facilitate the genocide should be hounded like this for the rest of their lives. They have to be forced to listen to the families of the people that they're helping a foreign entity murder because they're not going to change otherwise.

You can't just tell people whose family members have been r*ped, imprisoned in concentration camps, starved to death or blown up with bombs that your administration provided that they should protest more politely. There's no "proper" venue to force the potential next president to openly address the genocide that she's helped prop up because she's not going to do it otherwise, aside from "listening" and offering hollow rhetoric without a substantive plan of action.

There is no telling people whose families have been killed that they have to shut up or else those family members will somehow be even more dead if Trump gets elected. It doesn't work that way. She has to be forced to spell out exactly what she's going to do to stop her own administration's mass murder of Palestinians because she's not going to otherwise.

I couldn't believe what I was reading when I clicked into this thread. People really do just see politics as a team sport, want to mindlessly cheer on the "good team," and get rancorous and spiteful if you criticize their "team" at all, even if that "team" is currently helping murder hundreds of thousands of children. If you can't protest the genocide of your own people at a rally held by someone that has helped facilitate it, literally what the hell is anyone allowed to protest?

Also miss me with that sh!t of "them against us", both democrats and republicans are responsible for the massacre of innocent people all over the world and BOTH parties should be held accountable for those crimes, whether their leader is pro gay or not.

You won’t list your country in your profile, can you please tell me how well and perfect  your government has handled the conflict? I’m all ears!
