I was shook her music career started in the 2010’s and she’s barely getting hits in the mid-2020’s :air:

she changed label after releasing 4th album and last year signed with Universal Music Publishing.

The song is just really catchy. I tried hating on it when I first heard it and end up singing the lyrics over time.

I noticed the same happening with songs from another popular white woman singer who tops charts. Whether I was listening to Erykah Badu, Misfits, Nina Simone, or random French hip hop... the next song would be her.

This is my Hannah Montana™️ lipgloss.

People genuinely like the song, it’s got organic views on YouTube, her new song too. Taylor had lots and lots of auto play but not a single song of the new album has stuck. Auto play can only take you so far, let’s not forget Dua Lipa has the same accusations until she flopped

My mom asked her Alexa device to play country music the other day and Espresso started playing.

It happens to my Spotify as well.. no matter what song I play, it’s usually ‘Espresso’ that comes on next.

Makes you wonder how popular it really is given a huge amount of its streams aren’t exactly voluntary.

The music industry needs to be reinvented… it’s become farcical.

The way no matter whatever I play, the next song is always Espresso, followed by Greedy and then a song from Dua's latest album. And I thought I was going crazy :rip:

When TTPD was released spotify shoved it to everyone's ears, and faces, starts with promo on their social media and ends with shoving all the songs in every possible playlist, but that's too taboo for the media to talk about, so they are going after the new pop girl in town.

This entirely.

we’ve all been terrorized by The Tortured Narcissist’s Department for the past couple of months but somehow Sabrina Carpenter is the problem?? :alsemanche:
