Actually since 2014 domestically produced products didn’t need animal testing but imported products did. A while back with imported ones it wasn’t clear if products sold in China were tested on animals, since if there were complaints the Government could order animal testing after products hit shelves. So it’s the other way around. But turns out recently these regulations were lifted and Fenty seemingly waited for that shift and is the first brand to launch there after the change.
