The decaf dance-pop on Harry Styles’ fourth album is just unremarkable. Even songs about the emptiness of pop stardom succumb to tasteful restraint.

Its the first album of his i've enjoyed. But its firmly 6/10 territory. It's not that interesting, its just interesting by his standards.

Me at all the Taylor releases post Evermore  but agree, imagine being such a huge name and being so damn boring.

On a positive note I have gone and listened to Fine Line which I thought was very good.

Deserved. Total snooze fest, even when compared to his previous albums. Like him or not you can’t deny all three of his previous efforts were stronger and more interesting. 

someone mentioned the fourth album curse - it’s funny because it feels like he was keenly aware of that, and literally shied away from anything interesting to try to avoid the curse…he literally censored his own edge.
