Everyone complaining about it being a cash grab might as well just get over it because I 100% see this becoming standard over the next few years. It's a easy way to promote and monetize artists, and I can only see it becoming more popular as 1) Metaverses become more established and 2) Fortnite continues to build it's meta world. It's funny that this is getting dragged as much as it is because the difference between this and Beat Saber (which got way more positive feedback) is that Monsters set themselves up with delulu expectations.

I think it’s cool and a smart way to engage with a younger audience and a different demographic than before with other projects. So many kids play that game and this could be their first time hearing her music. I’m a firm believer that music and visual art can make a lasting and magical impact on your youth. It’s so awesome knowing that some kids out there are discovering their new fave.

I’m okay with Chromatica making a comeback/reappearance if it leads up to LG7. A bookend with Fortnite + The Chromatica Ball would be a nice send off and final bow to the era. 

I’m also confused as to why people see this as a simple cash grab. She’s promoting her music on a platform played by millions..

Being featured in something current and THIS popular, when was the last time that happened?

The content represented might be "old", but she's part of something brand new and extremely trendy.
