Then again, I guess minimalism is a theme of this era so we should not really be surprised. We first heard about it end of January and snippets came out shortly after. I know she performed it at The Grammy's but part of me feels underwhelmed because it would have made more sense releasing it either before or immediately after The Grammys. I feel like Houdini was released when Dance The Night was still massive, so Dua's strategy teasing this song so early was to build hype for it. That seems to have worked because it feels like there has been way more online buzz about this single. I guess the Problem is that we don't know much about the Album and there is not much content. For Future Nostalgia we had packed weeks full of Performances, Interviews etc. until Covid hit and even then her Team adapted quickly. There were rumors she had to quickly film a new one because it had explosions etc in it.
